By using Bitewise you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the app.
1. The Service
Bitewise is a nutrition app that lets you log meals, track macronutrients and calories, set weight goals, and chat with an AI-based coach. The service is available on iOS and Android.
2. Accounts
You can use Bitewise without an account, but to sync data across devices you need to create one. You are responsible for keeping your account secure. If you detect unauthorized use, let us know at support@bitewise.me.
3. Bitewise Pro Subscription
- Bitewise offers a paid subscription with additional features.
- Prices are shown in the app before you subscribe.
- Subscriptions are managed and billed through Apple (App Store) on iOS or Google Play on Android.
- Renewal is automatic. You can cancel anytime from Settings → your name → Subscriptions on iPhone, or from the Google Play app → your avatar → Payments and subscriptions on Android.
- We do not offer refunds outside of the respective store's policy (Apple or Google Play).
4. User Content
Everything you log (meals, photos, coach messages) is yours. You grant us a limited license to process it and show it back to you inside the app. We don't share it with third parties beyond what is described in the Privacy Policy.
5. Community and Objectionable Content (Zero Tolerance)
Bitewise includes social features: posts, comments, public profiles, direct messages, and group chats. You are solely responsible for the content you post. We enforce a zero-tolerance policy toward objectionable content and abusive users.
You may not post or send content that is illegal, harassing, hateful, threatening, violent, sexually explicit, defamatory, spam, or that impersonates another person. Harassing, intimidating, or abusing other users is also prohibited.
- Reporting: you can report any post, comment, profile, or message from the (•••) menu on that content.
- Blocking: you can block any user. Once blocked, their content disappears from your experience immediately and you can no longer interact.
- Moderation: we review reports and remove infringing content and/or remove abusive users within 24 hours. Violations may result in permanent suspension or account removal without notice.
6. AI Coach
The Bitewise coach is an AI-based assistance tool. It does not replace advice from a doctor, nutritionist, or health professional. Recommendations are guidance and are based on the information you provide.
7. Acceptable Use
Do not use Bitewise to:
- Violate applicable laws.
- Interfere with the operation of the service.
- Share illegal or offensive content.
- Attempt to access other users' data.
8. Availability
We aim to keep Bitewise available 24/7, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may perform maintenance or update the service at any time.
9. Intellectual Property
Bitewise, its design, icons, copy, and code are owned by Bitewise. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute them without permission.
10. Account Deletion
You can delete your account and all your data from Profile → Delete account inside the app. Deletion is immediate and irreversible. You can also request it in writing at support@bitewise.me.
11. Limitation of Liability
Bitewise is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the app.
12. Changes
We may update these terms. If the changes are significant, we will notify you inside the app. Continued use after the notice constitutes acceptance.

14. Governing Law
These terms are governed by Spanish law. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of Barcelona, Spain.
